Awards season is in full swing in the MENA Region and I’m delighted to announce that for the second year in a row, SEO Sherpa has won big at the MENA Search Awards.
This time, against the stunning backdrop of the Madinat Jumeirah Resort, SEO Sherpa took home awards for Best SEO Campaign, Best Use of Search – Third Sector, Best Use of Content Marketing, and MENA Search Personality of the Year.

The awards evening, held on 19 September, was a celebration of the best “expertise, talent and achievements” in SEO, PPC, and content marketing throughout the Middle East & North Africa. The event highlighted achievements and successes across 30 categories within the search industry.
Taking home three awards in 2018 for Best SEO Campaign, Best Large SEO Agency and Best Use of Search – FMCG, was a huge honour. Eclipsing that count with four awards this year is an even greater reward. It shows just how vital expertise and dedication are in today’s search landscape.
These accolades are a testament to the high standard of work the team at SEO Sherpa continues to produce. I’m really proud of the results we have achieved this year.

Best SEO Campaign
While client results are undoubtedly the most important measure of success, winning “Best SEO Campaign” for a second year is an incredible metric to weigh our work’s value. The external recognition that our work is THE very best in the region validates our position as leaders in MENA.
We are truly honoured to have once again been selected as the recipient of the Best SEO Campaign award and to our amazing client Informa Middle East, whose support helped us pull in some exceptionally strong SEO results.
MENA Search Personality Of The Year
Being awarded the MENA Search Personality of the Year was a thrilling experience for me personally. Over the past 10 years, I have devoted myself to the field of search. Over the past decade, I’ve written hundreds of blog posts, spoken at dozens of events and generally done my best to contribute to the industry here in the region.

Being recognized for my contribution to the search industry and joining Barry Schwartz, Bastian Grimm and Kevin Gibbons as current personalities of the year in our respected regions was certainly a humbling prize.
The MENA Search Personality of the Year award goes to James Reynolds from @SEOsherpaDubai. Congratulations! #MENASearchAwards

Final Thoughts: Great SEO Campaigns Are Built, Not Chased
Award-winning SEO campaigns don’t come from hacks, shortcuts, or one-off tactics.
They come from clarity.
Clear understanding of search intent.
Clear alignment between content, technical foundations, authority building, and conversion paths.
Clear focus on business outcomes, not vanity metrics.
What separates the best SEO campaigns from the rest is not effort.
It is structure.
A system that turns insight into execution.
Execution into momentum.
And momentum into measurable growth.
This is exactly where most SEO efforts fall short.
Teams execute tactics without a unifying strategy.
Agencies optimise pages without understanding the commercial goal.
Brands chase rankings without building long-term visibility or authority.
If you want to build an SEO campaign that is designed to win — not just rank — it starts with the right strategy.
At SEO Sherpa, we offer a free discovery call to help brands break down what is working, identify where performance is being capped, and design a Search Everywhere Optimization™ roadmap that turns SEO into a scalable growth engine.

Because the best SEO campaigns are not accidental.
They are engineered.
