Some people get things done. Others bring energy to a room. Maria has a knack for doing both. She approaches every task and challenge with a can-do attitude and infectious enthusiasm that makes people feel supported.
A graduate of Cost and Management Accounting from Goa University, Maria later completed an MBA in Project Management at the Swiss School of Management. Before moving into marketing, Maria built her career across customer service, operations and logistics, including several years at Etihad Airways. The experience gave her a deep understanding of how businesses create exceptional customer experiences.
Today, Maria is the Lead Nurture & CRM Lead at SEO Sherpa, where she manages the full lead lifecycle, CRM operations, and acquisition pipeline. She oversees lead qualification, lead nurturing, sales funnel performance, and revenue operations, helping drive conversion growth and optimize marketing-to-sales performance. Since joining SEO Sherpa, she has contributed to over $5.3 million in closed-won revenue while consistently exceeding acquisition and conversion targets.
The Fun
Maria is a morning person who doesn’t need coffee to jump into her daily routine. That said, it’s one of her favorite beverages, so you’ll rarely find her far from her favorite mug.
Naturally curious and always open to new experiences, she once tried cow brain (the most unusual thing she’s ever eaten!). Her spirit animal? A unicorn, naturally.
In her free time, Maria enjoys getting lost in a good book, watching comedy shows, and diving into true crime documentaries. She also loves karaoke, but she’s quick to point out that it doesn’t seem to love her back.
Maria is drawn to deep conversations and getting to know people beyond the surface. If she hadn’t built a career in marketing, she would like to think she might have become a psychologist instead.
