The Serious
Erika holds a degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Pangasinan in the northern Philippines.
She’s been writing content for various websites for over 12 years! That includes blogs, guest posts, web copy and more.
Erika considers her job at SEO Sherpa as her most successful yet.
Here, she loves the variety of content writing tasks and thrives amid the available learning opportunities. She also gets to further hone her SEO knowledge, master relevant tools and programs, and contribute valuable insights to the Content Team’s processes and practices.
Thanks to her fresh ideas, tenacity, adaptability, impressive work ethic and amazing organizational skills, Erika is truly a valuable asset of the Content Team.
The Fun
If Erika weren’t a part of SEO Sherpa today, she could picture herself writing scripts instead, or pursuing other college degrees that she would love to attain, such as biology, psychology and law.
The one superpower she’d choose? Mind reading – to quickly clear up misunderstandings and potentially prevent wars.
Her happiest moments are when she spends time with her family (her son, husband and father are the most important people in her life). Memories of documenting her son’s early years are treasures that she wouldn’t give up for the world.
Blissing out on the couch and watching Marvel movies and crime shows, like Bones and NCIS, is another favorite pastime.
What’s the weirdest thing Erika’s ever eaten? Crickets! While she acknowledges that they’re full of protein, she’d rather not repeat that experience.
She describes herself as a workaholic, slightly shopaholic, and caffeine-oholic, and enjoys a drink every now and then.
If you see a big, hairy spider, NEVER point it out to Erika – it’s guaranteed to gross her out.
Even though buying ready-made products is less expensive, Erika loves creating things from scratch, which is why her hobbies include macrame and beadwork.
Her favorite song is Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls, especially the line, “I just want you to know who I am.”
